BEHIND THE MUSIC

From the very first day I picked up a trumpet, I knew that this was what I wanted to do.  As of writing this, I've been playing the trumpet for over two decades.  I've been on the road and been blessed to travel with and learn from seasoned professional musicians from all walks of life.  Over the years I've gotten a good understandings of the do's and don'ts of being a musician.  I've had good experiences, bad experiences and everything between.  At some point I realized even though I was playing music for a living I hadn't really lived up to the vision of that kid that started playing all those years ago.   I had to make the decision to step out on faith and follow my destiny wherever it leads me.  It's a lot easier said than done.  It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there and be vulnerable for public critique.  A lot of my band mates had some hesitation when I initially called them.  Mostly because to that point my singing voice was confined to the privacy of my shower!  From our first rehearsal I promised myself I would change their minds and surprise them all.  Now I have a solid crew of musicians supporting and believing in my vision I turn my attention to my clients.  This is my dream come true and for any and every show we perform, I can guarantee the effort and dedication will be nothing short of 110%.  This is the fruition of a 20 year old dream and I hope you'll hire Andre Bernard & Groove Therapy so you can come along for the ride.
